New Urutu Sport Catalytic Converters for the Maserati GranTurismo (2009-2019 ) 4.7L F136Y V8 Engines & ZF automatic transmission (not compatible with the F1 Transmission). Replaces the restrictive factory cats and middle resonator resulting in a more aggressive and natural sounding exhaust note with no interior drone. High quality professional welds and craftsmanship welds and fittings. Add the Urutu X-Pipe (sold separately) to your purchase for even more aggressive exhaust notes.

This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. This product contains a High-Flow Sport Catalytic Converter solely intended for track and race cars as it is NOT California Air Resources Board Certified (CARB) and not EPA certified. You are hereby informed and warned to check your local, state, and federal laws before buying and installing these or any aftermarket parts to be sure whether usage is in violation. I reluctantly took the plunge to update the terrible infotainment center and climate control unit on my 2012 Maserati Granturismo MC Sport Line. Rett at Maserati Mods was incredibly helpful and responsive to all my questions from prepurchase,. installation day availability, and post purchase follow up. New units look and function well. Very pleased so far with my experience with Maserati Mods and equipment purchased.

I had a failing cat converter throwing a check engine light. Perfect excuse to upgrade to the Urutu Sport Catalytic Converters and x-pipe on 2011 Maserati GT-S.
Customer service was spot on. Rett gave his usual and personal support throughout the transaction. Installation was simple and done at my house. Product was professionally welded and produced by Urutu.
Post-install, in regular mode the sound is slightly throatier and smooth. There is zero droning while cruising. Unless you knew what was installed you'd think it's all factory.
Then you hit the Sport button and get on it. Good thing there's no noise ordinance in my town! You can hear me coming WELL before you can see me. I was grinning ear to ear when I first heard the Italian beast unleashed.
The roar of the GranTurismo's Ferrari V8 is irrefutably one of the sexiest sounds in the automotive world. Unlike the x-pipes for this car which can give a muscle car sound, the sport cats DONT change the Italian tone of the car that we all love but definitely amplify the aggresive roar when you punch it! Aside from being gorgeous to look at, these add a bit to the horsepower and a sound that will get your heart racing! Once the car is up, these took me less than an hour to install! Julian (Urutu owner), like Rhett, is also extremely helpful and prompt!
