Price
Our prices are per person based on double/twin rooms and quoted in US dollars. Once you book your trip, your price is guaranteed. Prices cover land tour only and do not include airfare to and from the trip. Trip prices include admission tickets to all museums and factory tours, three (3) Nights Hotel (includes breakfast & WiFi), group shuttle service to all tour destinations, two (2) lunches, and a dedicated tour guide and driver. Local taxes may apply.
Trip Run Guarantee
With five people booked on a date, the trip becomes guaranteed. In the case where trips are at under 5 guests, we may contact you prior to final payment to give you options for additional trip fees. If there are five guests before departure date, the additional fee will be refunded in full.
Trip Cancellations
Unforeseen events may make it necessary to cancel or modify a trip. Our Guest Services team will update you with any changes. We reserve the right to cancel departures in cases of force majeure or the failure of third parties—such as hotels—to honor their reservations, in which case all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. Sorrisi Sports is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs that are incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, or illness.

Cancellation Policy
Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to weather, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, personal, family, or medical emergencies. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. Percentage cancellation fees are calculated on your total tourprice (see chart).

Release Waiver
All guests are required to complete and sign our release waiver which will be provided upon trip purchase. Signatures are required after booking and all forms must be completed prior to 60 days from departure. We are unable to allow guests to participate in any aspect of the trip without a signed release form. We reserve the right to cancel reservations at 60 days if the trip waiver has not been signed.

What kind of support do you offer while on the tour?

What safety measures do I have to take on the tour?
You are required to adhere to the following safety measures:
- Vehicle Safety: While riding in the group shuttle, you must adhere to all local traffic laws, including the mandatory use of seatbelts.
- Factory and Museum Protocols: On trips involving VIP access (such as factory floors), you must follow the rules outlined by Sorrisi Sports and the third-party venue. This includes strict adherence to safety lines, photography restrictions, and protective gear requirements.
Do I have to read and sign a release waiver?
Yes, all guests are required to complete and sign the release waiver. The completed form must be submitted prior to 60 days from departure. Failure to sign the waiver by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
If I book a tour, can I be guaranteed that it will run?
The trip becomes guaranteed once five people are booked on a specific date. If a trip has fewer than 5 guests, you may be contacted before final payment with options for additional trip fees. If the group reaches five guests before the departure date, the additional fee will be refunded in full.
How big are the tour groups?
We keep our tour groups small to maximize your experience. Our maximum size is 8 people.
What age is required for a tour?
Guests of all ages are welcome. Any guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Prices are the same for all guests, regardless of age.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend you book at least 90 days in advance of your tour.
What currency do you use?
The prices are quoted in US dollars.
Do I need travel protection?
Yes. Sorrisi Sports strongly recommends the Arch RoamRight Travel Protection Plan to safeguard your travel plans against unexpected events.
Can you help me with my travel arrangements?
Guests are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the tour hotel in Bologna.
Will someone meet me at the airport? Are transfers included?
Transfers are not included. Guests are responsible for their transportation from the hotel to the tour hotel in Bologna.
What kind of information is provided?
The tour includes a dedicated tour guide who will be on hand to answer your questions. Detailed itinerary information will be sent in advance of your tour and again during the tour.
How much should I tip my guides?
Tipping is not mandatory in Italy, but it is a way to show appreciation for excellent service. For a multi-day group tour with a dedicated guide and driver, a customary tip can range from $8 to $12 USD per person, per day for the tour leader and driver.
When do you need all my information confirmed?
Your waiver must be completed and submitted prior to 60 days from departure.
What kind of travel documentation do I need?
For entry into Italy, you will need a valid passport that is valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from Italy. If you are a U.S. citizen, a visa is generally not required for stays of up to 90 days.
What should I pack?
General packing advice for Italy includes:
- Closed footwear (mandatory for safety on factory tours).
- Pack light and use a small day bag.
- Bring a travel power adaptor with USB plugs for international electrical power.
Where does my trip start and end?
Our trip starts and ends at our headquarters hotel in Bologna, Italy.
Can Sorrisi Sports arrange a pre or post-night stay at a hotel?
Guests should contact one of our trip advisors to add additional nights onto their stay at the tour hotel in Bologna. Additional nights will be billed directly to the guests. Arranging pre or post-night stays at a different hotel is the guest’s responsibility.
How do I handle international cell phones and electrical power while traveling?
For electrical power, you should bring a travel power adaptor with USB plugs to charge your devices, as Italy uses the European standard electrical outlets (Type C, F, and L plugs).
For cellphone usage, we recommend you get an international plan enabled on your phone. Alternatively, guests can opt to purchase a local SIM card to temporarily use a service in Italy.
